Nova Workbench is the international product line of Nova Enginera AS, a Norwegian building design company based in Tønsberg, run by a carpenter.
Why we make tools
Our daily work is building design, done by people with a background in construction. Software comes second. Every plugin on this site started as something we needed for our own daily work — drawing plans, producing building applications, planning production, communicating with subcontractors.
Most SketchUp plugins are built by professional plugin developers. Ours are built by people who use SketchUp to plan real houses, get real building permits, and pay real bills. That informs every design decision: what's worth automating, what's worth leaving manual, what edge cases matter.
