What Nova Snap does

Nova Snap captures the active SketchUp view at viewport-perfect resolution, then lets you draw, dimension, and label parts on top — with hierarchical collision-free measurement lanes and universal undo.

Key features

• Pixel-perfect screenshots of the active view (matches view.screen_coords)
• Pen + eraser drawing on HTML5 canvas overlay (6 colors, thickness 1–40)
• Four measurement modes: bbox, line-pick, corner-snap, label
• Snap-to-3D-corners with double-click chain mode (cc 600 default)
• Diagonal-aware dimensions — slanted measurements render along the slope, not as projections
• Hierarchical lanes — largest dimensions outermost, automatic collision resolver (60 iterations)
• Universal Ctrl+Z — undo any action, in reverse order, up to 100 entries
• Detail modes: part-list mode (cutting-list codes + clipboard-ready text) and detail-drawing mode (leader lines from parts to margin labels)
• Save to <projectfolder>/bilder/utklipp/ or copy to clipboard

How it works

1. View → Toolbars → Nova Snap, or use shortcut
2. Plugin captures the view, opens annotation overlay
3. Press C for corner-snap mode, double-click first stud, click each next stud → cc 600 chain
4. Press D for detail-list mode (cutting codes appear in image + side panel)
5. Save to project or copy to clipboard
